The New

News 1

You asked, we listened. Welcome to the new

We are excited to launch our new site, as there are a number of exclusive features that were not offered on our previous site. Our number one goal is for the new website to provide our customers with a more attractive and user-friendly experience that will allow for enhanced communication methods. Some of the new features include:

• An easier to use, attractive interface, delivering you the content you need as quickly as possible.
• Clear division between our product lines, S-Class and M-Class, which we have recently implemented. Article here
• A push toward social networking, including Twitter, Flickr and RSS feeds. Article here
• A careers section listing all the available job opportunities, and an online application system that you can upload your resume and cover letter
• A completely revamped quoting system making it quicker than ever to receive a quote from Gosco Valves
• A revamped News section, offering the latest updates on what is happening at Gosco Valves
• Brand new product downloads that reflect the revamping of our product lines (S-Class/ M-Class division)

On the footer of every page, you will see a mailing list opt-in section. We encourage you to do so (if you aren’t already on our list) so we can keep you up-to-date with periodical email newsletters. We don’t like spam either, so emails will be sent at very reasonable intervals.

Support for Internet Explorer 6 has been dropped. The content management system that runs behind our new site has a lot of features that help us get content to you quickly and efficiently, however it does not play well with IE6. We struggled with the decision to drop IE6 support, however there is only a small percentage of our visitors still using it, and Microsoft no longer supports it as well. Launched in 2001, it is no longer relevant, secure, or fully functional. We recommend you use Apple Safari, Google Chrome, or Firefox, but if IE is a must (unfortunately this is the case for some), use IE8. IE9 will launch soon, bringing features that will hopefully bring it up to speed with our recommended browsers.

On the contact page, we have a general contact form. Please let us know what you think of the new site, how we can improve it, or if there is something that isn’t working properly. We want to hear from you, as you ultimately know what works best for you and your web experience.
